Introduction

Hailing from the hamlets of Essex is a band called Thee Templars (and you know how we like a band that spells Thee with two "e"s), comprising of Thee Paul (six-string axeman and vocalist), Sid of Essex (stixman and vocalist) and Payens (four-string axeman and vocalist). Although their individual influences vary, as one rabble they have their feet firmly held in the garage, with a side helping of punk rock. Their sound is raw, hard, English (in the Medway tradition) and true - and they invite all-comers tot ake the opportunity to come along and listen to their merry sound. They have adopted the old middle english phrase, "Pick up thine axes and skins and fucking get on with it." ‚Stuart Farquarr (Gobshite and Journalist for the Fortean Times)
