Introduction

They started out in 2002 playing the songs of Johnny Thunders, New York Dolls, The Rolling Stones and in 2003 they put on a tribute to Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers in the Basque Country. Los Cretinos love the seventies punk bands, of course, as well as rock´n´roll from the fifties onwards, which can be heard in their songs. Of the many concerts they’ve played they are most proud of the one with Marky Ramone in Arrasate in March last year. A year ago they recorded their first disc – entitled "Arranca el Coche!" it comprises seven of their own songs and a version "Strychnine" (which was by one of their favourite bands ever, The Sonics). Ever seen a Spanish band at Dirty Water that wasn’t sh*t hot? Well, believe me, Los Cretinos continue our tradition of bringing you only the wildest in Spanish rock’n’roll.

This is where you will find out everything you ever wanted to know about every record we have ever released and a biography and photo of every band too.
