Q: Why is my comment not appearing?

A: Comments from unregistered visitors need to be approved first (because otherwise the site would be swamped with spam).

The best solution is to register first, then comment. Registered visitors will have their comments published straight away!

Q: Why is my band not listed in the bands section?

A: We try to put all bands in the index that have played at the DWC. That will take some time to finish, but we will get there eventually!

Q: How much is it to advertise on the site?

A: All the adverts we have currently on the site are free, because they are from companies/individuals which we believe are of interest to people who visit this site. These free adverts are by invitation only.

However, if you have a band or business to promote that is in line with the spirit of the club feel free to send us a line - we are happy to help where appropriate (contact clement [at] dirtywaterclub [dot] com or pj [at] dirtywaterclub [dot] com).

Q: Why is the site still in 'beta'?

A: The site is built and run by volunteers and will be developed as time and money allows. That means not everything is in place yet and some features don't work quite as we would like... please bear with us and let us know if you find bugs or broken links, we will do our best to catch up (contact clement [at] dirtywaterclub [dot] com).

Q: How can I help?

A: All contributions are welcome, if you have videos, photos etc, let us know, especially if you are interested in contributing regularly, eg. writing reviews (contact clement [at] dirtywaterclub [dot] com or pj [at] dirtywaterclub [dot] com).

We are always keen on linking up with budding camera men/women (contact ray [at] dirtywaterclub [dot] com).

Be aware that nobody here gets paid - and we reserve the right to edit or reject all submissions for a minimum of quality control. But we will attribute all published work to the respective authors and may even link to your blog or homepage.
